Many educational institutions issue their students or pupils a personal ID card. This card can also be used to operate the Nedap LoXS locker system.

The locker system from Nedap offers the greatest convenience for pupils and students. They can easily secure their locker, postbox or laptop locker by holding their RFID pass in front of the door. The system can even read the encrypted customer-specific data from your MIFARE card ensuring only students and staff from your site can access the lockers. This is simple and secure. The same lockers can also be operated with a PIN code or another type of card.

You decide who is assigned a permanent locker (perhaps for a year) or a short-term locker. This enables you to install just as many lockers as will be needed simultaneously, which saves a significant amount of space. Short-term lockers become available as soon as the previous user leaves. Short-term lockers can never be occupied longer than permitted, because you can unlock them at a specified time.

Every lock includes tamper detection. During a burglary attempt a signal is immediately generated, which can be used to activate an alarm or camera. This reduces the chance of burglary or misuse.

With our software you can configure the locker system to meet your needs, by selecting who may use more than one locker at a time for instance. You know who uses which locker and when. The software can be linked to your student or pupil system. There is no need to enter data again. The software is accessible via your web browser and – especially handy for janitors – via a tablet or smartphone.
