At many libraries visitors are asked to leave their personal property in a locker at the entrance. With Nedap LoXS, lost keys, unauthorised use of lockers and the need to provide change are things of the past.
The public nature of a library means that the use of keys and coins can be a significant burden to the organisation. Nedap LoXS offers a perfect solution for locker management. The lockers can be operated with a personally selected PIN code or, for example, a national library card. Lockers become available again right after a user leaves. Furthermore, items cannot be left in lockers overnight because the doors are automatically unlocked at a set time (e.g. after closing time).
Every lock includes tampering detection. During a burglary attempt a signal is immediately generated, which can be used to activate an alarm or camera. This reduces the chance of burglary or misuse.
